DIGITAL AEROMAGNETIC DATA

EDCON-PRJ is making available in digital grid form the regional aeromagnetic data published at a scale of 1:250,000 (a few at 1:100,000) by the Servicio Nacional de Geologia y Mineria. There are many advantages of the digital grid form, for example:

• Various filter maps can be generated, including Reduced-to-Pole, Second Vertical Derivative, and Horizontal or Vertical Gradient
• Color maps and shadowgraphs can be made
• Grids of contiguous sheets can be merged and maps at different scales can be produced

DELIVERABLES

• Merged grid of contiguous maps, 500-meter grid
• Total magnetic intensity map, scale 1:250,000, on mylar

Ownership of the published maps is a prerequisite for purchase of the digital grids, and resale of the grids is prohibited. EDCON-PRJ will arrange for the purchase of the maps on behalf of clients. Cost of the maps is included in the above price.

EDCON-PRJ can provide any filter, operator or color product, and interpretation of the magnetic data.
