EDCON-PRJ and Airmag Surveys Inc. have completed a non-exclusive aeromagnetic survey over the southeastern part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The area is a known kimberlite province and has potential for diamonds. Specifications have been designed to detect kimberlites which have intruded into lower Paleozoic sedimentary rocks underlying the glacial till that mantles this region.
