Conventional processing of helicopter acquired data has often been plagued by elevation
problems. Using EDCON-PRJ's proprietary Equivalent Source Gridding routine
significantly reduces line anomalies and produces maps and grids that are superior to
conventionally processed data.
- Linear Feature Analysis
- The local curvature properties of a two-dimensional gridded data set can be obtained
from a parabolic least-squares fit and this curvature is used to display the linear
features in the data set in a novel and visually striking way, to delineate boundaries
between different domains in the data, and for potential field data to derive a simple and
rapid depth estimation technique.

- Pseudo-depth slicing offers a systematic approach to wavelength filtering that has
proven successful in a wide range of geologic settings.
